A MAN impaled his arm on an eight foot wooden pole in Bridgwater this lunchtime.
A fire crew was sent to the incident in Wembdon Road just before 1pm.
They cut the pole down to two feet so the man could be taken to hospital by ambulance where the remaining part of the post was removed.
