Robert Blake students break the norm

ROBERT Blake Science College held its second curriculum day of the year where all students enjoyed a break from the usual diet of lessons and took part in a range of learning activities.

Highbridge-based animal charity Secret World visited year seven students as part of a days activities around habitats and environments.

The theme for year eights, was Africa. The day helped students actively get to grips with African music, language and arts.

Enterprising year nine pupils investigated how in the future they could afford their 'dreams' by making the right life choices.

Year ten students worked with the English and maths teams on a range of challenges and problems, while year eleven focused on examination preparation and motivation.

All events showed the students differing ways of learning and challenged them to be independent and collaborative learners.
