Birthday bash for Bridgwater Friends group

Bridgwater Friends of Cancer Research UK celebrated its 30th birthday with a bash at The Walnut Tree Hotel in North Petherton.
Around 50 guests, including Sir Blair Stewart-Wilson, county patron, Dawn Harrison, area volunteer manager, plus committee members, supporters and friends, gathered to recognise years of hard work from the fundraising group.
The highlight of the special occasion was a presentation of a certificate for outstanding service, to confirm that more than £435,000 had been raised by the Bridgwater Friends since it started.
