"CUT out waste and you will beat the recession" – that is the theme of a free event for businesses at the Junction 24 centre in North Petherton.
Helen Ridler, Somerset Waste Partnership’s business recycling advisor, said: “Attendees will hear The Somerset Waste Partnership event promises recession-busting environmental advice and an update on legislation, plus a buffet.
practical, low cost and no cost measures to help their businesses become more resource efficient and more profitable.
“Right now British businesses are estimated to be missing out on £6.4billion of resource efficiency savings. Can anyone afford not to come along?” The event, called Make Money, Not Waste, begins at 5.30pm on March 25.
