A COUPLE who got engaged thanks to an extra special proposal on Valentine's Day could scoop their wedding reception venue for free, thanks to Halswell House, on the Quantock Hills.
The venue is giving 14 couples who got engaged on February 14 this year a discounted rate on wedding bookings this summer - on a first-come-first-served basis - while the couple with the best proposal will get the venue for free. Directors at Halswell will judge the winner.
