THE CCTV control room at Sedgemoor District Council’s offices in Bridgwater was opened up to members of the Retail Watch scheme last week.
Traders in the security group learnt about the different functions covered by CCTV and met staff, police, Bridgwater’s MP Ian Liddell-Grainger and Andy Smith, Acting Inspector at the town’s police station.
The Sedgemoor District Council CCTV team monitor Bridgwater, Burnham, Taunton and Yeovil using more than 160 cameras throughout the region.
