CHILDREN at North Newton Primary School enjoyed a book week on traditional tales.
The week was based around the story of Cinderella and the pupils enjoyed taking part in a variety of book-themed activities.
Parents were invited to the final golden assembly of the half-term and had a go at a selection of the activities the pupils enjoyed.
There were also opportunities for parents and children to purchase books from The Travelling Book Co, and the proceeds of the sales raised more than £200 in free books for the school.
The children also enjoyed a visit to the Odeon Cinema in Taunton as part of National Film Week to see either Tales of Despereaux, Kung Fu Panda or Flushed Away.
