BRIDGWATER children’s charity Bibic re-opens its pool today exactly a year after a devastating fire destroyed it.

A ceremony will be held between 3.30pm and 4pm at the Knowle Hall charity headquarters on Puriton Hill, Bawdrip, where a commemorative plaque will be unveiled.

An electrical fault destroyed the entire swimming pool building on November 4, 2008, and the charity has been tirelessly raising funds since then to re-build it.
