A CRASH on the M5 near Bridgwater left one woman trapped in her car after it flipped onto its roof this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the accident, between motorway junction’s 23 and 24 at around 11.30am, after a vehicle had landed on its roof in the first lane of the motorway.
One casualty managed to get out of the vehicle, while one trapped female was freed shortly after.
Both are believed to have suffered relatively minor injuries.
The first two lanes of the motorway were shut to clear debris and the accident scene has now been passed to the Highways Agency.
