FRESH from looking on in envy as her two sons performed a thrilling skydive, Bridgwater woman Julie Wills is planning her next fundraising mission for an epilepsy charity.
The Mercury reported how Chris and Stephen Wills stepped into the breach when mum Julie was told she couldn't take part in the skydive because of her epilepsy.
Instead she had to keep her feet firmly glued to the ground as her sons jumped 15,000 feet from a plane to raise money for Epilepsy Action but she did dye her hair in the charity's colours.
Now Julie is hoping to highlight the condition in a different way by putting on a sponsored six-mile walk this Sunday as part of national epilepsy week.
She said: “I will be leading the walk with pink and blue hair.
“I want to raise as much as possible for Epilepsy Action to help support other people with epilepsy and to raise awareness of the condition.”
To sign up to the event, which starts in the McDonalds car park in Hankridge, Taunton, at 10.45am, call Julie on 01278-428096.
