RAID: A cannabis factory in Bridgwater was located and destroyed by police over the weekend
A CANNABIS factory has been located and destroyed in Bridgwater after some 'good old fashioned policing'.
PC Dom Bryant confirmed via Twitter yesterday (Sunday, September 9) that 'another cannabis factory had been located and destroyed'.
He said: "This is a perfect example of gold old fashioned bread and butter policing where people are happy to stop and chat to their local bobby."
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We attended an address in Gloucester Road in Bridgwater at about 10am yesterday (September 9).
"Officers discovered a number of plants believed to be cannabis at the property.
"The plants were seized ahead of destruction."
The spokesman confirmed that enquiries were ongoing.
