IT is set to be another warm day for Somerset with the clouds clearing in the afternoon.

In their South West summary, Met Office said: "Tuesday will start off rather cloudy with a few drizzly patches here or there.

"It will brighten up during the afternoon with some warm, sunny spells developing, so the most of us will see sunshine at some point."

The temperature is set to peak at around 25C, before falling to a minimum of 15C overnight.

Tomorrow's forecast said: "Another warm and rather cloudy day with patchy drizzle in the west, but some brighter intervals too. More persistent rain by evening with fresher, clearer conditions following from the northwest."

The maximum temperature is due to be 23C.
