SCHOOLCHILDREN in Westonzoyland will return from their summer holidays next week to find lessons being held in the village community centre, following an asbestos scare at the school.
Instead of settling down to the new term on the school campus, the 192 pupils will be spread between classes at Westonzoyland Community Centre and a temporary classroom cordoned off from the rest of the school grounds.
This arrangement is likely to last for most of September, Somerset County Council says.
