THE reputation of 'Sunday drivers' was put to rest during an event in Somerset at the weekend.
Speed was the order of the day during the 2018 Portishead Soapbox Roadrace, which took place on Sunday (July 15).
Dozens of crews took part, watched by hundreds of spectators, as they took on a practice run, followed by two timed challenges in Esplanade Road, Portishead.
Somerset Camera Club member Catherine Alexander was on hand to capture these brilliant photographs as the high-speed drama unfolded!
