A PAIR of instructors from Bridgwater Karate Club finished in second and third in the Welsh open championship in 1988.
Debbie Hobbs, a third dan black belt, was second in the ladies' open, while Joe Johnson, a second dan, took third place in the men's competition.
Elsewhere, Dave Eaton, an orange grade holder, finished in the last eight.
