FIRE crews rushed to a home near Bridgwater in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire engines from Bridgwater were sent to a property in Bawdrip shortly after 12.45am today (April 13).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a member of the public reporting the fire.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed that there had been a fire in the cooker, but it was out on arrival of the crews.
However, the property was full of smoke, so crews got work to ventilate.
The incident was left safe and handed over to the occupier.
