FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire at a property in Pawlett following a call from a member of the public.
One fire engine from Bridgwater went to the property at 5.14pm today (March 17) to investigate.
When firefighters arrived the officer in charge confirmed there was a small fire in the chimney above the hearth.
Crews used chimney gear to extinguish the fire.
The incident was left safe and in the hands of the occupier.
