GAMES, quizzes, discussions and rants - the Bridgwater Mercury's online forum is continuing to grow in size and popularity.
Six months after it was launched, the chat zone now boasts more than 300 topics, 10,000 posts and approaching 150 members.
An area to discuss what's going on in Bridgwater, advertise forthcoming events, get something off your chest, or just make new friends, the forum continues to thrive.
If you've not joined up yet, you're not too late - it's free, you can remain anonymous if you wish, and registration only takes two minutes. All you need is an e-mail address - and something to say.
To give you a taste of some of this week's hot topics, here is what some of our regular users have had to say this week: * Is Bridgwater a good place to raise a family? "I grew up in Bridgwater, and I am proud of it! I think it's a really good town, with lots going on. People seem to like to put Bridgwater down, but I don't think there's any need for that!" says The Hero.
* On Bridgwater's "forgotten generation" of senior citizens: "The elderly in this country are too often forgotten and must feel invisible in today's society. I can only imagine the loneliness some elderly people must feel... Frightened, ignored & desperate are other words that spring to mind," says Totally-Anonymous.
* On theft, vandalism - and lack of support for crime victims: "What ever you do these days to protect yourself or your property, you will be in the wrong in the eyes of the law," says Blue Monkey.
* On the great white shark sightings in Cornwall: "Presumptuous and scaremongering journalism, not to mention irresponsible if it ruins the livelihoods of tourism traders," said Chewbacca.
* On the £60million repair bill for Sedgemoor's council houses: "Surely it would indeed be better financial sense to knock 'em down and start again? A new house is bound to be better than a patched up old one!" argues Angry.
