BRIDGWATER Town welcome basement outfit Longwell Green Sports, who have picked up of late after a slow start, to Fairfax Park tomorrow (ko 3pm).

The hosts have been on good form of late, sitting seventh in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division table and on a run of five straight wins.

Longwell Green are seven points adrift of safety at the bottom but have won three of their last six games.

Robins player-manager Dave Pearse said: “It would be easy to look at it and think it will be a routine win, but I think it will be a really tough game.

“We will approach it with the same mentality as we have all our games on this run, as we will have to apply ourselves properly.”

Mike Duffy is absent but fellow midfielder Harry Horton returns, while Tom Llewellyn (brother of Jake) has been signed on dual registration from Weston-super-Mare.
