FRIARN House Residential Home in Bridgwater recently had a very special visitor this week.
Lofty Therapy Horses brought in an American Miniature Horse called Star who is specially trained to allow interaction with residents.
Alan Farkas the Manager at Friarn House said: “The day was a great success.
"It had a calming effect on the residents living at Friarn House and Star the pony was very well behaved.
"It was amazing to see the people’s faces light up when the pony arrived, and this was followed by a Valentines themed buffet lunch.
"We plan to have further visits from Lofty Therapy Horses in the future as part of our activity and Therapy sessions."
