BIG-HEARTED Bridgwater students designed, made up and gave out Christmas hampers to the community in a festive show of generosity.
Dozens of Chilton Trinity and Haygrove students delivered the boxes to Victoria Park Community Centre for distribution to people across the town.
Groups now receiving the hampers include Bridgwater Food Bank, brain injury charity Headway, families supported by Victoria Park Children’s Centre and young people who have recently left care.
The students had designed and made up the hampers.
Headteacher at Chilton Trinity, Lesley Greenway, said: "This was yet another wonderful example of kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity by the students. We pride ourself on being a community school and enjoy helping others. I’m very proud of them all.”
