A FATHER and son team from Bridgwater have taken on an extraordinary challenge for charity.
Andy and Bob Powell are taking part in the Two Ball Rally, which will see them head drive across nine countries in four days in a £500 car.
They have been working on the car over the last few months and created an amazing Yellow Submarine themed vehicle.
Andy, 70, lives in Penzoy Avenue, Bridgwater while his son Bob, 33, is based in Swansea. They have even kitted out the saloon car with a foghorn.
The duo, who were raising money for Mencap, set off on their journey on Thursday and returned Saturday.
The pair covered 1,200 miles in four days passing through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Monte Carlo and back to France.
Along the way they passed through the Black Forest in Germany, the Stelvio Mountain Pass, Lake Como and Monaco.
