STUDENTS from Robert Blake Science College have undertaken a Banksy-inspired community action project to help dozens of homeless people.
The Year 10 students worked with Taunton Association for the Homeless (TAH), Dulux and Teach First on the project, during which they decorated and designed colourful murals for the Taunton centre and helped make the garden area look more attractive.
The group then delivered assemblies back to the whole school to share their experiences.
The students were given family tickets to Butlins as a reward for completing the project by Dulux and Butlins.
Tony Francis, from TAH, said “We are really pleased the project went so well.
“It really has brightened-up what was a pretty dull and uninspiring part of the garden."
