SOMERSET cricketer James Hildreth is supporting Children’s Hospice South West during his testimonial year.
Hildreth, who has scored more than 14,000 first class runs since his county debut in 2003, is also supporting the Professional Cricketers Association.
He will be participating in a series of fundraising events throughout his testimonial year, including a walk from the Little Bridge House hospice in Devon to its Cornwall hospice, Little Harbour, in October.
Emma Perry, senior community fundraiser at CHSW, said: "It is a great honour to have the support of James in his testimonial year.
"He is an extraordinary cricketer and we feel very privileged to have his backing and wish him a fantastic season."
