THE Bridgwater public has been thanked for supplying information which helped uncover a cannabis factory.

On Tuesday, March 15, police raided a unit on the Colley Lane industrial estate and seized 124 cannabis plants.

Police have since arrested a 31-year-old man from Bridgwater for possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

He is currently on bail until May pending further investigation and forensic testing.

Sgt Joseph Piscina from Bridgwater Police Station said: “We want to thank the public for supplying us with the information that lead to this action. 

“We will investigate and take appropriate action when information is supplied to us from the community. Please keep talking to us.
