Firefighters tackle Spaxton chimney fire
BRIDGWATER firefighters were called out to tackle a chimney fire in Spaxton.
Firefighters attended the incident shortly before 7pm on Tuesday night (February 28) on the High Street in Spaxton.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Shortly after arriving the crews set to work using chimney gear from the grate and quickly managed to extinguish the fire.
"After making the area safe and giving some fire safety advice, duty of care was left with the owner."
