A PROPERTY on Coronation Road has been left badly smoke damaged after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.15am to the fire in Bridgwater after reports of a smell of burning and an alarm sounding at the flat.
Crews from Bridgwater were mobilised to the incident and on arrival crews discovered a small fire in a ground floor flat involving a fuse board.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
The property was badly smoke damaged as a result of the fire.
