VISIT: Max and Monty visited the Rose and Crown in East Lyng on Saturday
LANDLORDS Andy and Maggie Watts of the Rose & Crown of East Lyng arranged for some special guests this weekend.
The Wadworth Shire horses named Max and Monty still deliver beer, wine and spirits and can pull up to two tons in weight.
Mr Watts said: "They are two of the very few remaining working Shires in the brewing industry today and it was great to have them here, a rare glimpse into the past."
