THERE'S loads of stuff going on this Bank Holiday, here are just a few things to do around Somerset: 

  •  Somerset Rocks will be taking over Vivary Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The charity concert is in aid of St Margret's Hospice. 
  • Watchet Live Music Festival will see headliners Levellers, The Feeling and UB40 descend on Parsonage Farm over the weekend.
  • Cafe Mambo will be hosting two days of family fun on Saturday and Sunday. From midday until 5pm children can come along and get their face painted, learn new circus skills and enjoy family fun. 
  • Bridgwater Flower Show will take place in the Town Hall today and tomorrow. More than 500 exhibits will be on display. 
  • Wellington Flower Show will take place in the Alan Rogers Centre at Wellington School on Saturday.
  • Ilminster's annual Party on the Park at the recreation ground featuring music, games, and food takes place on Sunday.
  • Crowcombe Flower and Dog Show takes place on Sunday at 2pm at Crowcombe Church and Church House. A family-friend fun day is promised for all. 
  • Strawberry Tea Fayre for Breast Cancer Care at Hornsbury Mill, Chard, on Monday from midday until 4pm. There will be live music, guest speakers, pony rides, stalls, raffles, cakes, games and many other activities to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
  • All Saints Church, Isle Brewers, is hosting a day of games, face painting, cream teas, tombola and bric-a-brac from 2.30pm on Monday. 
  • The Windwhistle Inn, Chard, is hosting a family fun and sports day on Bank Holiday Monday. From 1pm until 5pm, children can win prizes and play games. The BBQ and kitchen will be open all day. The event is free but donations are welcomed for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. 
  • Come on down to the Dolphin Inn, Ilmnster, for their annual fundraising extravaganza on Saturday.Ilminster Majorettes will be parading through the town from 3pm with a performance out side the Dolphin Inn shortly afterwards. This year they will be raising money for the Macmillan Cancer Relief and Ilminster Majorettes.
