MORE than 30 cars in Yeovil were vandalised during a late-night vandalism spree.

The incidents happened in The Avenue area of the town, and more than 30 cars had tyres slashed.

Police have arrested three men in connection to the incident, and are urging people whose cars have been damaged to contact them immediately.

A spokesman for police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after more than 30 cars were damaged in Yeovil this morning.

"The incident took place in The Avenue and the surrounding roads just after 3.30am.

"The tyres of more than 30 vehicles were slashed, causing significant damage.

"Officers were quickly deployed to the aread and three men were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.

"All three remain in custody at this time.

"We would ask those whose cars have been damaged to report it to us now. Call us on 101 quoting log number 123 of today."
