AFTER a roaring success in 2015, Outcider Festival returns to Somerset this summer on August 5.

This three day festival, held at the Fernhill eco-farm in Compton Martin near Cheddar, boasts an eclectic line-up of nationally known acts and local talent.

Saturday night is headlined by acclaimed international ska / reggae band The Slackers, a

Gaz Brookfield, UK Feds and The Eskies, plus a rare UK date for American punk band

Mischief Brew. Festival favourites Skimmity Hitchers will end proceedings on the Sunday night with a jar or two of cider being raised.

Alongside the two alternating stages of live music Outcider also boasts a camp fire, idyllic camping field and locally sourced food. As you might expect a large range of West Country ciders feature at the bar, which also serves ales, lager, wine and spirits.

Weekend tickets start from £50 and day tickets are also available. These can be booked

via the Outcider Festival website and early booking is advised due to the popularity of

previous years. Please note that this is an over 18
