A POPULAR TV historian and journalist spent a day talking to pupils at Chilton Trinity in Bridgwater.
Andrew Chater gave a talk about history and answered questions on the subject.
He also helped the media students, who asked him on his experience, and he gave tips on how to have a career in the industry.
Andrew has his own Timelines TV channel, has worked for the BBC and is now working for the American Public broadcaster PBS.
Head of history, Howard Mills, said: "Andrew was absolutely brilliant.
"He has helped to bring history alive for years and it was wonderful for students to be able to hear him speak and also ask questions on his life and his vast experience in the subject of history."
