Holly MacBeth talks about Somerset Breast Cancer Now...

We have many exciting events coming up.

Local estate agents Creswick Estates Ltd trade as CJ Hole have chosen us as their charity for the year they have already raised over £800 for us and their next event for us is at the Burnham-on-Sea food festival raising money by selling cream teas on the day so look out for the pink breast cancer now team on the day.

Also Ed Cresick and his son will be doing a skydive in august for our charity we are still looking for any willing dare devils who would be interested in also doing a sky dive for us.

If anyone is interested they can go to //www.skydiveukltd.com/skydive/charity/profile/?profile=575 or contact me direct for further details.

We would also like to congratulate Lisa Bowen-Howe for running in the half bath marathon in March for our charity raising over £900, plus Colan Walker (pictured) who last Sunday, ran the London marathon for us and another fantastic figure of over £1,100.

Without amazing stars like these who put themselves through growling training deserve all our praise as what they overcame and achieved both personally and mentally was outstanding.

We would also like to do a huge thank you to the Weston operatic society who put an amazing show Legally blonde on at the Weston playhouse and they donated £1 from each tickets sold plus merchandise was sold during the performances and raised £900.

I was also lucky to attend the Julia Macdonald dance company’s charity show Look before you leap- a night of fabulous routines from Blood brothers, Matilda to Footloose and so much more.

They put on this show in aid of Breast Cancer Now and Marie Curie Care & support charities, they raised a staggering £7,000 for the charities.
