Kingsmoor Primary School opened in February 1995 following the closure and merger of Bawdrip Infant School and Chedzoy Junior School. The school's logo the kingfisher was chosen as being representative of the wild bird life of the local Levels. Its dazzling coat of orange and blue was echoed in some of the costumes of the children on this very special day when a fairy tale came true..
