YOUNGSTERS in year three at Catcott Primary School enjoyed something a little different, with their adventurous Viking day.
As part of their topic based on Angelo Saxons and Vikings, the children have started to read How To Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell in their literacy lessons.
The fun themed day involved a variety of activities that the pupils enjoyed.
They had the opportunity to write using the Viking alphabet, as well as speaking dragonease.
Fancy dress costumes and pretend weaponry were introduced so that all the pupils could get stuck into the theme of the day.
