Somerset's dry weather is set to continue today and throughout the weekend, with the Met Office predicting little chance of rain until Monday.

In their summary statement, the Met Office have said: "Mostly dry but with a few showers here and there, more so over Cornwall and Devon. Some sunshine in places, especially south of high ground. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine."

The maximum temperature is set to be 18°C.

In the Met Office's outlook for the weekend, they have said: "As high pressure builds from the west it will turn dry with variable amounts of cloud and some sunshine. Winds mainly light. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine, but chilly overnight."

The chance of rain is due to be 10% or less from now until next Monday.
