A BRIDGWATER College student has won a £500 travel voucher with STA Travel.
April Bishop, who is studying a foundation degree in media production, completed a student perception questionnaire which entered her in to a prize draw.
She went on to win the voucher, which she can use on flights, accommodation, trips and travel anywhere in the world.
The survey is a chance for Plymouth University partnership students to comment on their experiences to ensure the student voice is heard regardless of where they are studying.
April, who has just completed the first year of her course, said, "I completed the survey in hope that my opinions would be listened to and heard by the college and university. Miss Bishop said: "I can't wait to go somewhere I never thought I would be able to.”
Victoria Pyke, higher education quality assistant at Bridgwater College, said: "It’s amazing that one of our partnership students has won this prize.
"April is the first student to win from Bridgwater College so I hope she uses the prize to have a great summer".
