Charity day teas off
A COFFEE morning was held at Cannington Golf Centre last Thursday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A nine-hole competition saw players work up an appetite for the tea, coffee and cake on sale.
The morning raised £235.
Ron Macrow, Golf Centre manager said: “ It was a great day, with many people turning up to support the cause.
“Thank you to everyone who donated money and we hope to see you at other events at the Golf Centre in the future.”
