A MAN was rescued by fire crews this afternoon after getting stuck in the mud at Hamp Avenue in Bridgwater.
A fire engine from Bridgwater, one from Nether Stowey and the Special Rescue Team from Bridgwater attended the incident at 4.16pm.
On arrival, crews confirmed that a male was stuck in mud up to his knees and was rescued with the use of dry suits and a triple extension ladder.
