YOUNG swimmers will showcase their talents at two swimming galas in Bridgwater.
Trinity Sports and Leisure swimming pool is holding the galas tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday, February 5, when swimmers from 12 schools in the area will battle it out.
Each event will host six teams with 192 children expected to take part in the two events.
Event organiser Ricky Hayes said: “The galas really inspire the children to focus on improving their swimming and it provides a competition for the swimmers in a positive environment.
“The atmosphere is amazing at poolside and the place is buzzing with excitement.
“The galas are a result of a strong partnership between 1610 and Bridgwater Swimming Club to encourage more young people to take up competitive swimming.”
