FANCY a day at a health farm, some delicious home-made fare, a day at the races or half a pig? These are just some of the lots up for auction in Spaxton later this month.

Nearly 40 varied and coveted items will go under the hammer at an event being held to raise money to support St Margaret's Church, the village hall and Spaxton Primary School.

The event, being held at the village hall, includes a bar and pig roast, and will be hosted by a professional auctioneer.

The auction begins at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 24, and further lots can be pledged via Jackie Loxton on 01278-671329.
