A COURSE where people can get involved with helping the community will start at Bridgwater College in the New Year.
The free 12-week Personal Development and Contributing to the Community program me, which is run by the Prince’s Trust, will be starting on Monday January 19 for unemployed people aged 16 – 25.
The programme, which does not affect benefit payments, reengages young people, helping them to think about their futures.
The group will work together to carry out a range of tasks to benefit the local community.
Once the 12 weeks have been completed, participants will get a City & Guilds Certificate in Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills.
