Dog wardens' 'Santa Pups' appeal aims to help stray dogs
DOG wardens from Sedgemoor District Council are running a ‘Santa Paws’ shoebox appeal to give stray and homeless dogs in kennels a Christmas to remember.
Dog lovers are asked to donate either a shoebox filled with presents such as dog chews, collar and ID tag, leads, coats and blankets or dog food.
You can leave your doggie gifts marked ‘Sedgemoor Santa Paws Appeal’ at the three dropoff points at Sedgemoor District Council in Bridgwater House in King Square – last day for delivery is Monday, December 22.
