A POPULAR pub in Ashcott will beholding a fundraising event in support of people with a rare skin condition in the area.

The charity DEBRA is hosting the event at the Ring o’ Bells pub to raise to raise awareness of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a genetic skin condition which causes pain and severe disability and can be fatal in young children.

The event will include talks from local people living with this condition, representatives from DEBRA talking about the work of the charity in the community as well as tea, coffee and an opportunity to purchase gifts and cakes.

DEBRA is the only charity that supports families and individuals with this condition and it provides care and support whilst funding research into ultimately finding a cure.

The event at the Ring o’ Bells pub in Ashcott, Bridgwater on Saturday, October 25, 10am-2pm with free entry and parking.
