FOOD-LOVERS were able to enjoy a whole host of local delights over the last two weekends as Bridgwater Arts Centre held its first ever Food Festival.

The festival featured cooking demonstrations, food-related games, food stalls and also a raffle making sure that there was something for everyone.

Event organiser Jonet Middleton said: “We had a really good time over the last two weekends.

“We had all sorts going on from guess the pumpkin weight to pie making demonstrations.

“We unfortunately didn’t get the turn out we were hoping for but the stall holders have been excellent and we’ll definitely be looking to do it again next year, hopefully with more people coming along.”

Saturday also saw the start of an exhibition displaying food related art work from local artists which will continue until November 1.
