FORMER Bridgwater woman Victoria Jones (nee Sanders) is all set to run The Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of The Brooke, an international charity dedicated to improving the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules in some of the world’s poorest communities.
Victoria, who lives in Wotton under Edge, said: “What I like about this charity is not just the fact that mobile veterinary care is on hand to nurse these animals back to health but that there is an extensive ongoing training programme for their owners who rely on them so much for their livelihood.
Better informed owners who offer shelter from the heat, water, rest and love will get more from their animals.”
Victoria wants to raise £1,000 – to help visit justgiving.com/ victoriajjones or text TJPW76 £1, £2, £3, £4.
