THERE was a tea party with a difference last week as Bridgwater senior citizens were given the chance to take a tour round a state-of-the-art health centre.
Contact the Elderly, who organise volunteers to host a tea party once a month for lonely and isolated older people had a gathering at 1610 Trinity Leisure.
Following tea and cake,s there was a tour of the facilities, the like of which, many of them had never seen before.
They were delighted to have the chance to take a look at the modern gym, pool and other facilities.
Contact the Elderly organises tea parties once a month with a volunteer driver taking each guest to a different volunteer host.
