THE Bridgwater branch of Phones 4u has confirmed that it will be closing down after the company went into administration last week.
The retailer’s collapse comes as EE became the final mobile operator to decide it would not sell mobile phones or contracts through Phones 4u stores.
The brand has managed to secure the transfer of 140 stores to Vodafone, 58 stores to EE and 160 concessions to Dixons Carphone, safeguarding the jobs of more than 2,000 staff across the UK.
