80-year-old woman donated gifts to St Margaret's Hospice charity
AN 80-YEAR-OLD from Woolavington celebrated her birthday by asking family and friends to donate to St Margaret’s Hospice instead of giving her gifts.
Maureen Searle said: “I would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for making my day so memorable and for the kind donations to the hospice.”
Community Fundraiser Julie Draper met Mrs Searle at her home where she accepted the donation of £367.50.
