BRIDGWATER College offers its students many sports but none quite so exciting and energetic as the latest addition to the activities list.

The college is running a series of parkour classes to try and get its students more physically active and fit.

Parkour involves moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping and climbing.

The aim of the sport is to get from A to B in the quickest and most efficient way possible using only the human body.

It teaches you to be able to overcome any obstacle in your path, achieved by using as much speed, grace and fluidity as possible.

The project is running for the next six weeks and anyone aged between 14 and 26 is able to sign up.

Each session costs £1 for college students and £2 for anyone else who wishes to try this intense new craze.
